Professor Fraser Horn

Bio

Dr. Horn is the Dean and a Professor at Pacific University College of Optometry (PUCO) in Forest Grove, Oregon.  He graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2004 and completed a residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the Perry Point VA in Perry Point, Maryland.  He returned to Pacific where he has had the honor to work with talented and amazing faculty, staff, and students.  Prior to being the Dean, he has been a Clinic Director and then the Associate Dean of Academic Programs.

Dr. Horn is a co-instructor of the Sports and Recreational vision elective and he guest lectures in multiple courses throughout the program.  Dr. Horn also continues to work with professional and amateur athletes.  Dr. Horn is also co-owner of Sports Vision Pros, LLC.

Dr. Horn has earned his Fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry.  In addition, he is a Diplomate in the American Board of Optometry.  Dr. Horn is a past chair of the American Optometric Association’s Sports Vision Section and a former member-at-large of the AOA Sports and Performance Vision Committee.
